I build classical guitars in a very personal way, using my own design and
concept as well as traditional instrument-making techniques: I am
desperately addicted to highly unfashionable features like V-joints,
handmade-made inlays and real french polishing.
Being highly influenced by historical guitars of various styles and epochs,
my main concern in building a (nonetheless) modern guitar is to produce a well-balanced
and reasonably easy to play instrument with a colourful and malleable tone.
The range of classical guitars I offer includes standard 6-string as well as
9- or 10-string guitars with 3 theorbed strings each. These are available
with either a 648 mm or a 635 mm scale and a standard or an
ebony-veneered neck. All classical guitars can be provided with either spruce or cedar top,
Ziricote or flamed Maple being my favourite choice for back and sides.
On special demand, I also build copies based on antique guitars of both
historical and musical interest. My models are mostly french or viennese
19th century guitars, but I also offer a 5-course guitar, freely inspired on
a venitian 17th century guitar.
Prices go from 3.600,- to 7.200,- Euros (hardcase included) and my actual
delivery time for a new instrument is between 1 and 2 years. Please inquire
for details.
